LUNT LS35 FIRST LIGHT IMAGE

View the Image

First light for the newest solar scope on Earth! The new Lunt Solar Systems LS35 telescope has been received. I spent some time getting to know it and bringing it to focus with a camera. The results are above. While the end product is still being tweaked, this little scope looks promising. Compact, light, and affordable. What's not to like!

I am honored to have been asked to participate in the International Year of Astronomy's

LUNT LS75HA FIRST LIGHT

View the Image

I conducted an imaging session for the Arizona Solar Conference at Lunt Solar Systems in Tucson this past weekend. The double stacked LS75Ha was on the tracking mount so I used it. The filters produced a wonderfully even field image using the Lumemera SKYnxy camera. Looks like Lunt has a real winner on it's hands! | MORE |
