The Advanced Telescope Systems pier
is a sturdy, well built pier that easily handles the loads of two Ha
telescopes and accessories. Fitted with an AP adaptor plate, the ATS pier works
wonderfully with the AP900 mount. I find it much easier to carry than
other piers due to the fact that it's light weight, has a carrying
handle and the legs remain attached.
The pier is painted with the same paint as the mount
and weighs 40
lbs.
