TV-102 and Coronado SM90
The Robin Casady Tandem bar, 8" and 14" Dovetail Saddles
have proven to be very valuable for me to show off the sun to the
public. I'm able to view the whole disk of the sun in the Coronado
and then show a magnified, close up view in the AP.
Balance is achieved by sliding the AP155 in towards the center of
the mount. The AP900 easily handles the weight.
In the above
photo, the TV-102 is
mounted directly to the Tandem bar by drilling an extra hole for
the clamshell. Below I have added a DOVE-12 and Losmandy DR-125 guide
rings.
This works much
better and allows you to aim both scopes at the sun. If
you look a one quadrant of the sun with the AP, you can then turn one or
two screws on the Losmandy rings and get the sun back in the FOV
perfectly.

See the
SBIG ST-2000XM page for more info
on imaging the sun.
